when i was a kid i was exceedingly fond of playing with my slot car racing track. being a boy, i especially liked finding ways for my cars to crash. (if i had been somehow smarter i could have reversed the polarity of the 2 tracks so that my cars could have played chicken. not sure why i didn't think of that as a kid--oh well.) if i HAD figured out a way to make my cars play chicken it would have been my very own version of a small hadron collider. so, in honor of the maiden voyage of the Large Hadron Collider (and the fact that the world has not been destroyed), the following cartoon (which isn't mine)
cuz i can GUARANTEE i tried finding ways to get our damn cat to sit on the track while i revved up my controller.
